A New Legacy was engaged to create a global design vision for Sofitel that resonated with today’s discerning traveller, redefining the brand’s interior experience across hotels, resorts and residences through a contemporary expression of French luxury.
The insight was to evolve Sofitel’s heritage into a contemporary and connected guest experience — embracing quiet luxury through refined materiality and understated elegance, while blending sophistication, sustainability, and functionality that remains true to the brand’s identity.
We developed a unified spatial design framework that defined signature guest experiences, customer journeys, and zoning principles across all key hotel spaces. The approach combined contemporary French aesthetics with flexible, human-centred design thinking.
The final design direction established a cohesive and elevated hospitality experience, balancing refined French luxury with contemporary functionality to create a timeless and globally adaptable interior identity for Sofitel.
